Hey, I’m Jayne, I’m 18, and I’m from Estonia — specifically a small town near Tartu, but I spend a lot of time in Tallinn too. I grew up between forests, the sea, and a bit of that cozy Nordic-meets-digital vibe Estonia is known for. I speak Estonian, English, and a little Russian. Right now I’m finishing high school and figuring out what comes next. I’m kind of an old soul but with a chaotic teenage energy — I love deep conversations, late-night drives (when the white nights hit in summer, it’s magical), and I overthink almost everything. I also play guitar badly but passionately.

Turns On I love the silence of Estonian nature — especially in autumn, when the forests smell like rain and moss. I’m obsessed with black coffee, vintage clothes, and indie music (The Marias, Men I Trust, and local Estonian bands like Puuluup). I also love writing in my journal, taking blurry photos on my old digital camera, and cycling to the sea at 3 AM when the sun barely sets.

Turns Off I hate fake politeness and small talk. Also — being rushed. I can’t stand loud, crowded malls or people who never question anything. I really dislike the feeling of being invisible in a group, you know? And winter in Estonia… it’s beautiful for two weeks, but after that, the darkness and slush just drain me. Also, people who chew loudly — straight to jail.
